In this kitchen renovation effort, we have focused on the island as the inspiration for the color contrast. The lower-level cabinets appeal to the dark gray of the beautiful quartz stone on the island. The heavy corbels we removed over the range of the stove on the hood, in exchange for a simpler cleaner wood detail line of the outer cabinetry.
The soft yellow tones of the quartz are amplified in the gold finishes of the light fixtures and appliques on the range hood. The light fixtures intricacy invites you into the room for a closer look at all of the accents, including the bold gold plated metal tile in the box of the range.
